Plastic tubes have the characteristics of light weight, corrosion resistance, low water loss, and convenient installation, which are favored by the tubeline engineering community. At the same time, compared with traditional metal tubes, plastic tubes consume less energy in production (generally less than 1: 4). Environmental pollution is small, and the government and related departments are paying more and more attention.
In foreign countries, plastic tubes are constantly replacing metal or other traditional materials, and their development is very rapid. In the ten years from 1980 to 1990, with the exception of plastic tubes, the total growth rate of tubes of various materials was less than 2%, but the growth rate of plastic tubes was 4 times that of other tubes, reaching 8%. In the 1990s, the demand for plastic tubes was still increasing at an annual rate of 4.2%, and its output value was increasing at an annual rate of about 8%.
my country began to produce plastic tubes in the 1970s, and began to promote and apply them in engineering construction in the early 1980s. In the past two decades, plastic tubes have been greatly developed, not only in quantity, but also in varieties and specifications. By the end of 1999, there were about 2,000 plastic tube production lines nationwide, of which about 15% were imported equipment. In 1999, the production capacity of various plastic tubes in my country reached 1.65 million tons, and the actual output was about 1 million tons. Among them, PVC-U tube is 500,000 tons, accounting for 50%; PE tube is 360,000 tons, accounting for 36%. In recent years, as the construction industry has become an important pillar industry of the national economy and the rapid development of the housing industry, building indoor plastic tubes have developed rapidly and have now become a hot spot for investment.
The development of plastic tubes is currently mainly based on UPVC tubes and PE tubes, and vigorously develops new composite and modified plastic tubes. In 2010, the main products of plastic tubes must meet market requirements, with a complete range of products in the market, with significant improvements in quality, grade and supporting levels, and the overall level is close to the international advanced level. In the new construction, reconstruction and expansion projects nationwide, 80% of building drainage tubes use plastic tubes; 80% of building water supply, hot water supply and heating tubes use plastic tubes; 90% of wire sheathing tubes use plastic tubes; construction rainwater drainage tubes 70% Plastic tubes are used; 70% of urban water supply tubes (below DN400 Inm) use plastic tubes, 70% of rural water supply tubes use plastic tubes; 50% urban drainage tubes use plastic tubes; 60% of urban gas tubelines (medium and low pressure tubes) use plastic tubes.
