With the increasing demand of the cosmetic market, the cosmetic packaging market is also growing. In the process of consumers' actual purchase of goods, packaging is one of the important factors that determines whether consumers buy products or not. Therefore, the packaging design of cosmetics has been mentioned in a very important position. The design of cosmetic packaging needs to consider many factors, among them, the basic function is to protect the cosmetics itself, but also need to consider the supply capacity of suppliers, consumer acceptance and environmental protection and other factors. There are many noteworthy details in the pre-press design process of the cosmetics tube package. Here I will focus on the design considerations of small text and lines.

(1) small text and lines should be designed into a single package to avoid multi-color overprinting. The width of the fine line should not be less than 0.1mm, otherwise it is easy to lose or unclear strokes in printing. The net height of Chinese font should not be less than 1.8mm, and the net height of English font should not be less than 1.5mm.

(2) special attention should be paid to the anti-white text in the design. If the text is small, especially when the strokes are fine, monochrome should be used. Should also pay attention to the choice of font, round head, black body, such as the line body is a better choice, the song typeface, song typeface (thin horizontal and thick vertical strokes are too different font will be careful, if use this font when in the tube cosmetics packaging design, should pay attention to the net height of Chinese fonts is not less than 2.5 mm, net of English font height not less than 2 mm.

The reason:

(1) compared with the first printing ink after printing ink viscosity is too high.

(2) the first printing ink fixed slowly and large ink.

(3) four color ink color strength balance is not appropriate.

Treatment method:

(1) The inks with high stickiness shall be printed first, and those with low stickiness shall be printed later. The ideal stickiness requirement is that the color of overprint shall be successively reduced.

(2) Cosmetics tube packaging adopts fast fastening ink printing, and the concentration is high to print thinner, the pattern area is small to print first, for later overprinting.

(3) any set of wet multi-color overprinting ink their color strength is balanced, overprinting can be used to give the same amount of ink, if not the same set of ink printing together, when using to properly handle.
