Environmental protection cosmetics packaging using plastic poly (lactic acid) (PLA)

Japan shiseido company plans to cosmetics packaging development and application of environmental protection to the public product, the environmental protection packing USES 50% of the plastic, poly (lactic acid) (PLA) in order to solve the plastic poly (lactic acid) (PLA) in heat resistance, impact resistance and moisture performance, develop multilayer structure formed by polylactic acid and polyethylene plastic material, heat resistance, impact resistance and moistureproof performance good environmental protection packing. According to calculation, shiseido company using this kind of environmental protection packaging can reduce carbon emissions by 20%. Shiseido plans to launch in the Chinese market this kind of new environmental protection packing, for the Chinese market of the five products in September 2008 adopted the packaging poly (lactic acid) (PLA), also plans to begin in 2011 after all the cosmetic packing further instead of polyethylene environmental protection derived from sugar cane.
