7. Sand blasting of cosmetics packaging materials


Sandblasting is very common in the application of the metal surface, the principle is to accelerate the abrasive particles to the metal surface impact, and achieve rust removal, deburring, to oxidation layer or surface pretreatment, it can change the metal surface finish and stress state. Some of the parameters that affect sandblasting technology need to be paid attention to, such as the type of abrasive, abrasive particle size, spray distance, spray Angle and speed, etc. In addition to sand blasting treatment, shot blasting treatment is also a good choice.


Sandblasting process can be divided into air pressure gun and impeller shot blasting two kinds, and the advantage of sandblasting process is that it can remove the peak, remove the burr after die casting, stamping, flame cutting and forging, and the burr effect is better for the thinner workpiece and pore. It can clean up the residual sand in the process of sand casting, clean up the rust of cast iron or steel, clean up the heat treatment, burning, hot forging, rolling and other hot processes in addition to the scale. In addition, for coating applications, it can remove existing coatings or protective layers and provide a glossy surface on overlay casting defects such as cracking or cold lines. In addition to the surface stress, it can provide consistent rough surface, oiling and spraying effect, in the high stress metal parts such as springs and connecting rod by local constant knocking, will produce deformation and show the phenomenon of strengthening. This strengthening effect is the need to use circular abrasive such as stainless steel shot, in the high energy shot blasting machine or special powerful sandblasting machine.
