Scalps are sensitive. Some scalps are inflamed, flaking, or recovering from chemical treatments. Plastic teeth hurt. Metal balls are cold and hard.
Silicone is the scalp material.
It flexes when pressed. It warms to body temperature. It glides through hair without tugging. The rounded teeth part hair instead of pulling it.
And because the tip is soft, customers press harder than they would with a plastic tool. That deeper pressure — without pain — is exactly what scalp massage needs to stimulate blood flow.
The product dispenses through the tip. The customer does not squeeze onto fingers and then apply. They do not pour into a separate comb. The treatment comes out directly onto the scalp, exactly where it is needed.
The 50mm wide body stands upright like a small jar. It does not roll away. It does not hide under bottles. It sits on the counter like a tool, not a consumable.
The silicone tip is soft to the touch — immediately forgiving. There are no hard plastic teeth. No sharp edges. No metal. Just gentle, flexible nubs that promise a massage, not a scratch.
Inside the cap or collar is a simple rotary valve.
Two surfaces face each other. Each surface has an opening. When the openings align, product flows. When they do not align, product stops.
The user rotates one surface relative to the other. A spring-loaded detent creates the click at each stop position.
There are no small parts that can fall out. No gaskets that can dry out. No complex assembly that can fail.
The mechanism is tested to 10,000 open-close cycles — far more than any consumer will ever use.
Polyethylene is the workhorse of cosmetic packaging. It is flexible enough to squeeze, rigid enough to hold its shape, and chemically inert — it will not react with botanical oils, essential oils, or active pharmaceutical ingredients.
The tube is molded in one seamless piece. No bottom seam means no weak point. No seam also means a cleaner, more premium appearance.
For oxygen-sensitive formulas — vitamin C scalp serums, antioxidant treatments, or shelf-sensitive botanicals — we add an EVOH barrier layer. The formula stays stable for 18 months without dark glass or metal packaging.
Polypropylene caps are injection molded. The hinge (if applicable) is a living hinge — a thin section of plastic that bends without breaking. Living hinges in PP can withstand thousands of bends. The cap snaps onto the tube collar. It stays in place during shipping. It opens easily when the user wants access to the silicone tip.

Liquid silicone rubber is injected into a mold under heat and pressure. The result is a single-piece tip with no seams, no glue, no assembly.
The internal channel is molded into the tip. The teeth are molded as part of the same piece.
We control the hardness precisely. Too soft and the teeth flatten under pressure. Too hard and the scalp feel becomes plastic-like. The sweet spot is 30–40 Shore A — the same hardness as a high-end kitchen spatula or a baby bottle nipple.
The tip is then bonded to the tube neck using a secondary molding process. There is no adhesive. The silicone fuses to the PE at a molecular level. It will not separate over time, even with repeated squeezing or exposure to oils.
